|| Biography ||

In 1989 Auke de Vries was born in Zwijndrecht, a village in Holland. One year later he moved to Oegstgeest and he went to primary school there He got intrested in drawing rather quickly. His first animations were made when he was ten years old on Powerpoint and Flipbooks.

In 2001 he went to Secondary school in Leiden. He continued the drawing and in the fourth year he decided to make characatures of his teachers for the student newspaper and the yearbook. In the fith grade he joined the student cabaret group of his school. In the same year Auke realised that he might wanted to do something with art after the Secondary school. He went to the preliminary course of the Art school of Utrecht.

When he finished Secondary School he went to the the art school AKV St.Joost in Breda. After his propedeuse Auke decided to choose animation. In 2011 Auke graduated at St.Joost where he got his Bachelor of Design. During his final year He combined his study with his Job as a Motion Graphics Designer at Wenneker.tv. Auke is currently working as freelancer Animation and Motion Graphics Designer.
